Powder Bookkeeping, a Colorado-based firm, is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We believe it is our collective moral and legal obligation to provide seamless, accessible, and unhindered use of our website and services for everyone, including those with visual, auditory, physical, or cognitive disabilities. Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities, with three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
Powder Bookkeeping conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA where possible. We regularly test our site using automated tools including our Ally accessibility scanner to identify and address issues.
Specific measures we take include:
  • Providing alternative text for images.
  • Ensuring sufficient color contrast options for text and backgrounds.
  • Making the site navigable via keyboard alone.
  • Captioning videos and providing transcripts for audio content.
  • Using clear headings and structured content for better readability.
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet fully conform due to ongoing updates or third-party integrations.
Known limitations include:
  • Certain older PDF financial reports may lack full alt text or tags; we are remediating these by Q2 2026 and can provide accessible versions upon request.
  • Embedded third-party tools (e.g., payment processors) may have partial compatibility issues; we are working with vendors to resolve them.
